I can tell you the exact date, 17
th December 1982. It was a pool experience.
What made you start diving?
I wanted to improve my swimming techniques, and now, here we are!
What do you like about Malta?
I like that Malta has a lot of diving opportunity for all kinds of levels of diving, from beginners to technical divers.
How long have you been working for Techwise?
From the very start! 2009 and I don't work for it, I own it!
What kind of diving do you personally enjoy?
I enjoy my day’s off from diving to be honest!
What is your favourite dive site around the Maltese Islands?
For recreational dives, I enjoy the Um El Faroud the best, and for technical dives is the HMS Southwold. Even for technical dives the Um El Faroud is great, great wreck to explore inside.
What do you do on your non-diving days at work?
When I'm not diving, you can find me in the office, answering emails and on a lot of video calls with my pink earphones!
Favourite piece of equipment?
My JJ CCR, best piece of equipment ever.
Where do you see yourself within 5 years of the diving industry?
I would like to do a bit of consulting and just focus on JJ re-breathers, I’m not the youngest anymore.
Have you ever failed a student during a course?
Yes, during a course I had a student that was not aware of his surroundings and created a dangerous situation for himself and others, and he did not want to accept it, therefore I had to fail him.
