When did you first start diving?
I started diving a long time ago, in 1999.
What made you start diving?
My husband, Alan Whitehead made me, but I’m really happy he did.
What do you like about Malta?
I really like Malta for its culture, climate and lifestyle. After living in Malta for many years, I still enjoy it.
How long have you been working for Divewise?
14 years! Has it been that long?!
What kind of diving do you personally enjoy?
I enjoy reef and marine life
What is your favourite dive site around the Maltese Islands?
I don’t get the chance to dive that often, but when I do, I like to go to Cirkewwa! There are tons of small marine life to find.
What do you do on your non-diving days at work?
I’m more out of the water than in the water. Most of my time during work I do the admin accounts, emails and all the behind the scenes activities at the dive centre.
Favourite piece of equipment?
I just love my aqualung balance wetsuit.
Where do you see yourself within 5 years of the diving industry?
I would like to dive more often. Escape the office a bit more and enjoy the great underwater world Malta has to offer us.
Have you ever failed a student during a course?
I’m an assistant instructor at the moment, so not much teaching opportunity yet. Maybe in the future, who knows. Maybe I will be your instructor for your next course???
What has been your best experience with Divewise so far?
My best experience with Divewise is seeing happy customers, meaning that we as a team do a good job, that’s what it is all about right!
