When did you first start diving?
I started diving back in 2010, it’s already been 11 years!
What made you start diving?
One of my friends father was an instructor and introduced me to diving. A whole new world opened up for me.
What do you like about Malta?
I like that you can go diving any where you want. There is always something to explore in the underwater world.
How long have you been working for Divewise?
I started working for Divewise in 2017. Times flies when you are diving.
What kind of diving do you personally enjoy?
I really enjoy wreck diving, it's even better when going inside!
What is your favourite dive site around the Maltese Islands?
I would have to say the Um El Faroud. Have you seen it? it is massive! So much to explore.
What do you do on your non-diving days at work?
On my non-diving days, I help the general do maintenance on the diving trucks and I really enjoy being busy with the boat.
Favourite piece of equipment?
My drysuit! Diving in a wetsuit in winter, I could never!!
Where do you see yourself within 5 years of the diving industry?
I would like to become a technical instructor as I have become a technical diver myself last year. I would also like to become a re-breather diver.
One step at a time.
Have you ever failed a student during a course?
I never failed a student, If a student is struggling with any skills, buoyancy or confidence we slow down, jump back a few steps or invite them back another day for extra tuition until they get it right so I know they are ready to be certified
What has been your best experience with Divewise so far?
That I get the opportunity to dive real WW2 wrecks
