Reef Dive, Comino
The Santa Marija Caves can be found on the middle island of Comino on its Northside. It is a very popular dive site. There are at least 10 caves that are known of today which divers can explore. Each has its own distinct feature and beauty and no cave is the same. There are some which offer swim-throughs, underwater tunnels and others have beautiful blue waters through their entrances.
Because of the shallow depth, you can get the most out of this dive. These caves are not only ideal for divers, but also for snorkelers since most of the caves are quite shallow and also most are half out of the water, so snorkelers can come up for air. The caves are not deeper than 8 meters. For underwater photographers, this is a playground not to be missed!
The Caverns & Swim Throughs
The caverns are a stunning dive, with views of the light zone at all times on the dives. You will see the light streaming through the cracks and openings in the cavern roof, with some great opportunities for photographers and videographers.
